Our dance classes are a place where movement becomes play and creativity knows no bounds. We provide children with a safe and inspiring environment in which to explore their bodies, imagination and the joy of movement. Through dance and play, children develop their motor skills, learn to work with others and discover how to express their ideas and emotions without words.
Ponec Theatre Children's Dance Studio: 3-4 years old
Studio Krenovka | every Monday | 4.30–5.30 pm
In our classes, children:
- explore movement through games, stories and imaginative play,
- dance to live music,
- develop coordination, rhythm and imagination,
- build concentration, cooperation and self-confidence,
- create freely, without pressure to perform or find the "right" answer.
These classes are designed for children aged 3–4. No previous dance experience is needed – just curiosity, a love of play and a willingness to explore.
Every class is a new adventure. Children transform into animals, travel through imaginary landscapes, discover the natural world, experiment with simple props and create stories together. Movement becomes a natural way of exploring and making sense of the world around them.
At Ponec Theatre Children's Dance Studio, we do not focus on teaching dance steps or technique. We believe every child has their own unique way of moving and expressing themselves. Our classes nurture curiosity, imagination and the joy of discovery, allowing each child to develop at their own pace.
Live music is an integral part of every session. Created in the moment, it responds sensitively to the children and their movement, helping them develop musicality, a sense of rhythm and attentive listening in a natural and playful way.
Our aim is to create an environment where children feel confident, learn to work with others and express their thoughts and emotions freely through movement.

Ponec Theater Children's Dance Studio: ages 5–7
Studio Krenovka | every Monday | 5.30–6.30 pm
In our classes, children:
- discover the foundations of contemporary dance through play,
- develop coordination, rhythm and movement imagination,
- create their own movement ideas and simple dance phrases,
- learn to collaborate, listen and create together,
- dance to live music.
These classes are designed for children aged 5–7. No previous dance experience is required – just curiosity, creativity and a love of movement.
Through games, improvisation and creative tasks, children are introduced to the fundamentals of contemporary dance. They gradually explore rhythm, space and dynamics while creating simple movement sequences and learning to express their own ideas through movement.
Live music, created especially for each class, gives every session its own unique atmosphere. It helps children develop musicality, rhythmic awareness and a natural connection between music and movement.
Our focus extends beyond dance skills. We encourage creativity, cooperation, self-confidence and the joy of movement. We want every child to leave each class with new experiences, fresh inspiration and greater confidence in their own abilities.

Ponec Theatre Children's Dance Studio: 8 - 11 years
Ponec Theater | every Wednesday | 4.00–5.15 pm
In our classes, children:
- explore the foundations of contemporary dance and improvisation,
- develop technique, coordination, musicality and movement awareness,
- create their own movement phrases and short choreographies,
- learn to work consciously with their bodies, space and the group,
- dance to live music on the stage of Ponec Theatre.
These classes are designed for children aged 8–11 who enjoy movement, dance and creative exploration. Previous dance experience is not necessary – curiosity, collaboration and a willingness to discover one's own movement language are what matter most.
Classes take place on the stage of Ponec Theatre, allowing children to experience the unique atmosphere of a professional performance space. Working on stage develops concentration, spatial awareness, collaboration and the confidence to share their own creative work with others.
Through improvisation, creative tasks and movement combinations, children explore contemporary dance while developing their own movement vocabulary. They learn to work with rhythm, dynamics and space, and discover new ways of expressing themselves through movement.
Live music is an essential part of every class, created in real time alongside the children's movement. It encourages them to respond to rhythm, tempo and atmosphere while experiencing how music and movement come together to create something unique.
Alongside dance skills, children develop independence, creativity, cooperation and self-confidence. We hope they leave each class with a sense of achievement, new experiences and an even greater trust in their own creative potential.
