The PONEC Theatre is opening new dance workshops for teenagers.

The regular dance workshops for teenagers are led by a team of experienced instructors and leading creators on the contemporary dance scene Věra Ondrašíková, Jana Látalová and Daniele Iemolo. The workshops connect the techniques of contemporary dance, develop the participants' own movement capabilities and focus on creative processes (improvisation, creation of choreography). The workshops are held every Monday in the Krenovka Studio during the school year, from October to May.

At the same time, workshop participants will have a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes of the PONEC Theatre and become part of its life by means of visits to dress rehearsals, performances, discussions with creators, workshops with artists and involvement in other theatre activities. We called this program PONEC Teens.

Parents are not allowed to enter the lessons, but if they accompany their children, they can spend their time pleasantly in the Unijazz Reading Room on the ground floor of the building.

Age: 12 – 18

When: from 9 October every Monday 17:30 – 19:00 (October 2023 – May 2024)

Where: Krenovka Studio, entrance from the Unijazz Reading Room, Husitská 22, Prague 3 (close to the PONEC Theatre in the direction of the train station)
