Jorge Luis Rebollo Castañón, born in the city of Irapuato, Guanajuato, México on September 19, 1991, is a graduate of the Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Dance (Generation 15) from the Professional Dance School of Mazatlán, directed by the company Delfos Danza Contemporánea. At the end of his studies he was part of the teachers' network of the "Continuum Training System" in charge of Omar Carrum.
He has taken national and international courses with teachers such as: Francisco Córdova (Mexico), Aladino Blanca (Mexico), Jaciel Neri (Mexico), Javier Díaz Dalanais (Chile), Malgorzata Haduch (Poland), Andrew Hardwood (Canada), Livia Balazova (Slovakia), Vittoria de Ferrari (Italy-Belgium), Sadé Alleyne (England), among others.
He was co-director of the contemporary dance project COLECTIVO 1.618, presenting his work and teaching classes in various spaces in Mexico, as well as collaborations, courses and choreographic productions in Italy and Canada.
He was co-director of Plataforma Órbita: training program for young people from Guanajuato with the purpose of bringing them closer to the artistic field, as well as promoting emerging national and international artists.
He was co-director of MOV+ED Movement Education: independent cultural center dedicated to training and bringing art to children and adults with the aim of disseminating dance as an artistic discipline, critical thinking and contributing to the reconstruction of the social fabric.
