Lukáš Karásek

Lukáš Karásek was a student of Pierre Nadaud in the Klaunské studio of stage and film craft at JAMU in Brno. Prior to that he graduated from the Waldorf Lyceum in Ostrava. During his studies, he worked with Aleš Janák and Irina Andrejeva from Teatr Novogo Fronta or Karin Ponties from Dam de Pic. He took part in a Commedia dell'arte internship with Giovanni Fusetti in Florence and then wrote a bachelor's thesis on acting in comedy and acting with a mask. Florent Golfier

After his studies, together with Florent, he founded the tYhle group, where he works together with Marii Gourdain and Zuzana Režna. In addition, he performs or creates dramaturgy in movement productions (Viktor Černický, Cécile da Costa), devotes himself to education at schools and worked as a carpenter for two years.

Felix Baumann

Felix Baumann (*1991) lives in Berlin and works since 2016 as a freelance dance and theater maker in an international context. After graduating in Physical Theatre at the the Accademia Teatro Dimitri he founded the company "Von B bis Z | Baumann&Zöller GbR" and realizes projects at the border of dance, physical theater, circus and visual arts. His research and practice focus on an interdisciplinary approach that uses the tool of the body in action to show the absurdities of human life in a humorous way. His most recent work are particularly dedicated to the relationship between the body and scenographic material.

Sean Henderson

Sean Henderson is  a current member of Divadlo Continuo as well as a collaborator with the companies Von B bis Z (DE), tYhle (CZ), and Matière Mobile (FR). Sean holds an MFA in physical theatre from the Accademia dell’Arte (IT) where he studied under a variety of artistic companies including FLIC school of circus in Torino (IT), Founding members of Roy Hart Theatre (FR), and Familie Flöz (DE). Through his background in both sports and theatre Sean aims to research the intersections of various movement fields as a pathway and entry point to the world of movement based theatre, combining the adaptive and reactive nature of sports with the play and openness of devised theatre.

Johana Pocková

Johana Pocková (*1992) is choreographer and dancer in the field of contemporary dance, physical theater and performing arts based in Prague. In 2019 she founded the company POCKETART as a platform for authorial performances. She created 5 full-evening performances and other participatory projects (for seniors, children, outdoor concepts etc.) in colaboration with other artists, some of the projects were part of Aerowaves, Czech Dance Platform and other festivals in CZ and abroad. As a performer, Pocková collaborates with Tantehorse company and tYhle. She studied at the Duncan Centre Conservatory in Prague and at SEAD (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance), and benefited from a scholarship at the Peridance Capezio Centre and Limon Institut in New York.

Her work is characterized by tackling topics that go beyond the personal experience of the individual and touch upon societal issues such as manipulation through media, global environmental threats, etc. She tries to approach these topics comprehensively through detailed work with all theatrical components. www.pocketart.cz

Zuzana Režná

Zuzana Režná is a light designer for physical theatre and dance productions. She graduated from the Theatre Faculty of Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno in Lighting Design. During her studies she collaborated on Belgian choreographer Karine Ponties’ production of Pisum Sativum and took part in workshops by the Institute of Lighting Design in Prague. She also underwent an internship with Sasha Waltz & Guests in Berlin. She is currently collaborating with the physical-theatre company tYhle, providing it with lighting designs for Umbilikus, UN, Higher, Medúza, Wrestling with language, Mu---Tation and Living Room. She also collaborates with Marta Kuczyńska and company Kejos The-At-Er, Marek Menšík and Sláva Zubkov, Matthew Rogers and Chris Leuenberger, Markéta Stránská and Jean Gaudin, Viktor Černický, Tereza Lenerová, Peter Šavel, Svalbard Company and Katharina Schmitt. 

Lukáš Palán

Lukáš Palán (*1992) is a musician, composer and sound performer. He is interested in modulation and effecting sound signals. He accompanied performer Petr Nikl in Moravian Gallery, performed music for Laser romance by HaDivadlo, created music for a piece Saudade with performer Alica Minar or made music for events of The National Gallery - Slunovrat and MYSLBACK cooperating with director Tomáš Žižka. Since 2019 he has been a long-term collaborator with the POCKETART dance collective, with which he created music for two pieces The Lion`s Den and Treatment of Remembering. For this collaboration he was awarded with a Special Mention from the International Jury at the 27th edition of the Czech Dance Platform.

Sára Šimek Arnstein

Is a theatre artist. She studied acting at the Department of Alternative and Puppet Theater at DAMU. Among her greatest interests is devised theatre making, searching for topics, researching, finding the form and manner of the production, looking for movement material through improvisation, and writing original texts. Ufftenživot is name of a theatre group she formed with Jiří Šimek as a platform for making theatre performances, based on physical work, dance and movement combined with storytelling, poems, singing, or multimedial visual work, and for podcasts, workshops and other creative activities.
