Immerse yourself in an enchanting world of miracles, fairy tales, and dreams come true through this interactive dance performance. It’s an experience that will make even adults feel like children.
Winter days bring loads of joy and fun, uniting families through various games and amusements. The festive season is rich in traditions such as decorating Christmas trees, singing carols, creating nativity scenes, and baking cookies.
Enhancing the performance are Ukrainian symbols, with the poinsettia symbolizing joy, love, and happiness during Christmas. The Christmas season is associated with symbols like the Christmas star, which brings joy, love, and happiness to every home.
At the end of the performance, children are invited to a short interactive workshop, where they can try out various props and get creative. They’ll have the chance to make their own Christmas tree or create something from their imagination. For a moment, they become part of a magical Christmas story that awakens the childlike joy in everyone.
Yana Reutova worked as a dancer, choreographer and teacher in the Odessa region. In 2014 she founded Dance Theatre Plastilin and created several performances receiving some awards. She organized the Dance Platform Most festival (5 years) and worked a lot with children (Creative Kids project) and her students. After that she started the Speaking with the Body festival, which took place only once. In March 2022, she took her daughter and several students and fled from the war to Prague, where she now works.
She has contributed to projects by other choreographers and also leads workshops for children called "Dance with the Heart" and dance lessons for professionals, "Krenovka open classes." She is now focusing on developing her own creations in collaboration with artists.
Her triptych concept "Together Alone" succeeded in the European competition within the first EFFEA Open Call https://www.effea.eu/ and was one of the 40 supported projects.
