16:00 - 17:00 | Studio Krenovka | Movement-voice workshops for the elderly and seniors // public presentation + film screening + discussion
Who says creative body language is only for the young? The participants of our movement-voice workshops for the elderly, which we organize in the PONEC Theatre, will convince you otherwise. The group of daredevils who come regularly not only to stretch their bodies and refresh their minds, but above all to experience something new and unique with a group of like-minded people, will show you what can be done when you accept that age is just a number.
The performance was created under the leadership of the workshop's team of instructors: Lenka Kniha Bartůňková, Ridina Ahmedová and Jan Bárta, who conceived it as an elaboration on the theme of "What would the workshop participants say to themselves as young people?" Thanks also go to other instructors – Hana Polanská and Cécile Da Costa

17:30 - 18:30 | Čítárna Unijazz | Jana Drdácká: flamenco // theatrical performance
Jana Drdácká, a leading performer and promoter of flamenco in the Czech Republic, will draw you into her dance-theatre production of The Dream of Božena. The author's inspiration for the project was the life of her grandmother, an exceptional woman who lived for over a hundred years and with whom she feels spiritually and physically connected. For the author, it is the grandmother who embodies the basic themes of female nature, intimacy, role and strength, which she tries to convey through the production.
You can look forward to dance fragments in the rhythm of flamenco with the live musical accompaniment of Kamil Ďurana, Matěj Konečný and Silva Morasten. Petr Fejk will guide you through the performance.

19:00 - 20:00 | Art Hub | Lenka Kniha Bartůňková, Ridina Ahmedová, Dominik Žižka: Eymen – Point of View // film screening + discussion
The collaboration of artists from different continents brings new experiences, topics and points of view. In Africa, the elderly are often considered the most important members of the family and society. Their departure from life is therefore a significant celebration of wisdom, experience and goodness. How is the perception of death and the finitude of life different or similar in different parts of the world?
Lenka Kniha Bartůňková and Ridina Ahmedová travelled to Accra, Ghana, where they interviewed people from different social strata about "death". They then continued to collect interviews in the Czech Republic. Based on the materials, a devised performance was created with dancers from both countries. Come and see the most powerful moments from the launch in Ghana through the eyes of Dominik Žižka. The premiere of the documentary was shown at the TANEC PRAHA 2022 festival. The related discussion is moderated by Yvona Kreuzmannová.
