We warmly invite all dancers, performers, choreographers, actors and anyone who explores movement as a means of expression to a two-day movement workshop, INBETWEEN MOVEMENTS. The workshop will be led by renowned contemporary dance choreographer Adrienn Hód (HU) and experienced performer and choreographer Soňa Ferienčíková (SK).

Through improvisation and simple physical exercises, you will have the chance to develop your body's physical potential, endurance and imagination. Each instructor will bring her unique approach and specific work with the body, sharing personal insights and experiences with the principles behind the experimental dance performance SOFT SPOT.

Included in the workshop is a ticket to the finale of the aforementioned performance, which will take place on December 7 at 8:00 p.m. at the Ponec Theatre.

Adrienn Hód is a choreographer based in Budapest. Since 2007, she has led HODWORKS, an internationally acclaimed dance company focused on contemporary dance. In her works, she deconstructs the structures of the body, movement, space and music, reconstructing them in surprising ways. During studio work, she creates intimate situations that provide dancers with the space and trust to open up to their physicality, feelings and emotions. Her methods are rooted in improvisation, which is then expressed within a structured framework on stage. She is not afraid to explore uncharted territory.

Soňa Ferienčíková is a dancer, choreographer and founder of the production group BOD.Y. She currently works as a freelance artist, focusing on contemporary dance, experimental theatre and dance film. In addition to studying in Bratislava, she has also studied in Prague, Antwerp, Salzburg and New York. She has collaborated with various Czech, Slovak and international choreographers. She was nominated for the Slovak DOSKY award in the category of Outstanding Achievement in Dance Theatre.
