Dance-movement and art workshops for children from 6 to 12 years of age led by Ukrainian and Czech artists*.  

In the dance lessons, children use their imagination and physical practices to discover new possibilities of their bodies. Movement games develop imagination, an understanding of one's own body and space. In the art workshops, they use their imaginations to learn to perceive ordinary sensations in a new way and transfer their observations to paper using different materials and techniques. The lessons, which are held every Thursday in the friendly TEP39 studio from September to May, are thematically interwoven and complement each other. The dance and art workshops always form one unit. The entire course is focused on the development of children's imagination and creativity and provides enough space for individual self-expression. There are no clear rules for completing the tasks, only the topic, materials and space to bring all ideas to life.

Participants do not need to have any dancing or drawing skills, just enthusiasm and a keen interest in learning. 

 

The lesson can be conducted in Czech or Ukrainian.

The lesson will last 1.5 hours and will be divided into two parts: art and movement. It will be followed by a discussion - a space for further information, questions and feedback. Please reserve your place in advance.
