The modern fairy tale by Roald Dahl, full of imagination, playfulness and subtle humour about the world's largest chocolate maker and the little Charlie, whose dream came true, has become a great challenge for a group of young dancers from DOT504 Junior. The girls aged 10-14 came up with the idea of realizing this theme and Lenka Ottová, artistic director of the DOT504 Company, accepted their wishes.

The performance has an immediate, sincere and strong character thanks to the "children to children" concept– despite understandable limits given by the protagonists' age. The dance theatre performance is designed for a teenager’s audience, where their parents will not be bored either. This full-length feature of the performance is the first time for the young dancers to have a chance to experience such a professional format.

The story of a chocolate maker who makes the children – owners of Golden Tickets – go through several tests. Children carry the good and bad habits of their parents with them, their blemishes and vices, only in other forms. What is their chance to face up to these handicaps in Willy Wonkas’ tests?

Dance exaggeration, imagination, artistic concept and suggestive music are a great challenge for young dancers. Are they going to stand the test? Come and see for yourself.
