Rapture is a hypnotic fusion of dance, video projection, and music.
It unfolds an unconventional energy in which passion and wildness meet rhythm, order, and attentiveness.
Movement codes, sound, and both digital and analog imagery shatter reality into a living kaleidoscope, opening a space for individual contemplation within the play of fragments and the whole.
The very act of experiencing becomes a transcendent journey – rapturous and ecstatic.
23 Poems Collective consists of four independent artists – dancers, choreographers, and educators: Eliška Benešová, Tereza Krejčová, Kristýna Peldová (CZ/SLO), and Karolína Šnajdrová. Their activities span from theatre and site-specific performances, through teaching for diverse groups, to the creation of short dance films and photography.
Since 2023, they have been in creative dialogue with Kulturní prostor ÚL, where in May 2024 they presented their site-specific debut S.I.O. – Sides of In and Out. In 2025, they are creating the multimedia performance Rapture in collaboration with Slovenian visual artist Enya Belak, co-produced with Tanec Praha z. ú.
Beyond these projects, the collective continuously collaborates with cultural institutions and regional venues, including Sladovna Písek, Stodola Drozdov, Vzbuďme Vary, ZŠ a ZUŠ Šmeralova in Karlovy Vary, and the SIRAEX festival.
Kristýna Peldová is a dancer, performer, choreographer, and educator. She studied at the Duncan Centre Conservatory in Prague and completed her bachelor’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Between 2016–2018, she collaborated with Spitfire Company (Constellation I. (Before I Say Yes) and Constellation II. (Time for Sharing)). Since 2017, she has been living and working in Slovenia, where she continuously contributes to numerous projects. In 2020, she co-founded the artistic institute Platforma NEST. In 2024, together with Enya Belak, she premiered the dance-visual piece Unfolded Moments.
Enya Belak is a multidisciplinary artist whose work lies at the intersection of film directing, choreography, and other media. Rooted in contemporary dance, her research focuses on the body as the central subject. After completing her master’s degree in film directing at Goldsmiths University, London, she has participated in a wide range of film, music, and dance projects and co-developed an innovative method of capturing dance in virtual reality. Among her directing credits is the acclaimed documentary Aerowaves at 25.
