Marie Gourdain
is a choreographer, scenographer and a visual artist, of French background, who has lived in Prague since 2010. She studied animation cinema at ENSAD in Paris and at VŠUP, Prague. For her sculptural work she was awarded the Frédéric de Carfort prize (2011) and the ENSAD prize (2009).
As a stage designer she works for many contemporary dance companies, for the choreographers Karine Ponties (2017), Rita Gobi (2018), Andrea Miltnerová, Barbora Látalová, Zdenka Svíteková (2016) and Lucia Kašiarová (2014), and on site-specific projects for the Festival KoresponDance for Dominique Boivin and Jean Gaudin (2014–2018).
Since 2015 she has been a member of the tYhle collective dedicated to physical theatre and dance. In 2016 she choreographed her first piece, UN/One, in which she performs with Florent Golfier. In spring 2017, she choreographed her second piece, LEGOrytmus, commissioned by Studio ALTA. And in 2018 her third work, Medúza (Czech Dance Platform 2019). In 2020 Marie receives the first International Caroline-Neuber-Scholarship of the city of Leipzig.
Matthew Rogers
Matthew Rogers (1978) is a freelance dancer/choreographer based in Hamburg, Germany with many ongoing collaborative relations throughout Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He also assists with movement and choreographic coaching for movement based performance work. Matthew graduated with a BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2002. From 2003-2011 he was an active part of the dance community in NYC, most notably performing in the works of Tere O'Connor. During this time he was an instructor in the Pilates Method. In 2010 he had the great pleasure to perform in Marina Abramovic’s retrospective, ‘The Artist Is Present’ at MoMA.
Sabina Bockova
is a dancer and performer working at the independent Czech dance scene since 2017. In 2019, together with Johana Pockova she had created a piece The Lion's Den, which got into an Aerowaves 21 selection. As an interpret she has a long-run collaboration with companies Tantehorse and tYhle and as an creator she is engaged in her authorial work in company POCKETART and in collaboration with a Slovak performer Tomas Janypka.
Radim Klásek
After six years of studie graduated at Conservatory Duncan Centre. As an interpreter worked with with various choreographer and directors (Martina Talaga, Luis Marrafa, Mirka Eliášová, Petr a Matěj Forman, Lenka Kniha Bartůňková, Michal Záhora, Marie Gourdain), performing in dance pieces, theatre plays and operas. Also colaborates on improvisation evenst (Moving Orchestra) with Prague Improvisation Orchestra.
Sára Vondrášková
Sára Vondrášková /Never Sol/ is a musician, composer and music producer focusing and working mainly with the soundscapes and of synthesisers and vocals.
Alumna of the Jazz Academy of Music in Prague & Prague Conservatory and co-founder of a Prague concert series Botanical Sessions. Never Sol has released two studio albums so far- ‘Chamaleo’(Supraphon Records 2018) and debut album ‘Under Quiet’ (Supraphon Records 2013).
In the past few years Never Sol participated at the Tokyo edition of Red Bull Music Academy, summer course of Music Production at Columbia University NY and MusicMakers Hacklab at CTM Festival Berlin. Sara also performs with Tomáš Dvorák's electro-acoustic project Floex , has her weekly show on radio Vltava focusing on alternative and electronic music and works in composition and sound design for contemporary dance performances (Spitfire Company, Markéta Vacovská, Burki&Com, DOT 504).
Never Sol appeared on events such as Eurosonic Noorderslag 2018, Electronic Music Festival EMAF Tokyo, Knockdown Centre New York, Pohoda Festival, Colours of Ostrava, Stodola Warsaw, Denovali Festival, Haldern Pop Festival and many others.
Zuzana Režná
Zuzana Režná is a light designer for physical theatre and dance productions. She graduated from the Theatre Faculty of Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno in Lighting Design. During her studies she collaborated on Belgian choreographer Karine Ponties’ production of Pisum Sativum and took part in workshops by the Institute of Lighting Design in Prague. She also underwent an internship with Sasha Waltz & Guests in Berlin. She is currently collaborating with the physical-theatre company tYhle, providing it with lighting designs for Umbilikus, UN, Higher, Medúza, Wrestling with language. She also collaborates with Marta Kuczyńska and company Kejos The-At-Er, Marek Menšík and Sláva Zubkov, Matthew Rogers and Chris Leuenbergerem, Markéta Stránská and Jean Gaudin, Viktor Černický, Tereza Lenerová, Peter Šavel, and Katharina Schmitt.
