An Interactive Journey Through Theatre, Between Past and Present

As part of the 14th edition of Theatre Night, Divadlo Ponec will transform into a space for exploration. A walk-through stage installation awaits you – an interactive tour of a venue that carries the legacy of František Ponec’s “electric theatre of living photographs” and, since 1998, has been the first permanent stage dedicated to contemporary dance and physical theatre in the Czech Republic.

This time, the auditorium will remain closed. The action moves onto the stage itself, which becomes a space for free movement. Live music will resonate throughout; you may sit at round tables and simply observe – or choose to take part.

At 18:30, 19:30 and 20:30, a short introduction will take place in the foyer – a few words about the theatre, its history, and the installation itself. At these times, the music will sound as a shared moment of gathering.

You can also look forward to lightly nostalgic refreshments – bread, cheese and wine.
