It's as if we had two lives. The everyday one that we tend to regard as more "real", but there is also a second life – the life of dreams. In fact, our brain does not make a distinction between waking reality and dream reality. Our dream nightlife is therefore a second reality of our day. Everything is possible in a dream, there are no boundaries or rules. Yet at the same time everything is firmly attached to the reality of waking life, anchored in our selves.

In short, it is still us in two parallel worlds intertwined within structures and mechanisms that, to our misfortune, we do not quite understand.

When dreaming, our dream reality can be surprisingly clear and distinct. The obstacles we face unsuccessfully in our daily lives (gravity, the inability to fly, encounter with the dead, etc.) are suddenly overcome in a dream as a matter of course. The dream experience can be even more intense than that of daily reality. Then the question is which of these parallel lives is the real one. Other times, the dream is a journey to an unknown country. We are completely lost in it, at its mercy. We find ourselves in strange places with strange people, and it is not even clear who we are, and if we are even human. The rules of daily life fall apart here, and we feel threatened, confused, insecure and vulnerable. However, the experience of a dreamlike reality is still chillingly real.

It is said that sleep is a "little death". It contains the boundaries of our being and non-being in absolute uncontrollable wholeness, fulfilment and emptiness all the way to the core. Consciousness, the subconscious and the unconscious communicate with each other according to a key that is not apparent to us. However, we suspect that the dream is one of the important communication channels through which information about the world in and around us flows in our direction.
