In response to the ongoing challenging situation facing independent dance art across the Visegrád region, Tanec Praha / Ponec - dance venue is launching a residency program in solidarity with the Hungarian dance community.

Our goal is to offer a professional environment for creative projects and to provide space where new works can be developed and potentially brought to life. We believe that culture and art are a shared heritage that transcends borders and that mutual support among artistic communities in the region is particularly important today.

The residency is open to individual artists and companies based in Hungary.

What we offer:

- ta one-week creative residency at Ponec - dance venue
- access to technical facilities and a technician on-site
- timeline: January / February 2027 (specific dates to be finalized with the selected artist/company)
- space for 1–3 projects (subject to scheduling availability)
- other costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) must be covered by the applicant; Tanec Praha will assist in liaising with the Hungarian Cultural Centre (Liszt Institute) in Prague.
