The choreography draws on the visual arts and explores the transformation of a static image into a living, stage-based form. It was inspired by the famous painting The Last Supper by the renowned artist Leonardo da Vinci. The work examines the historical context of the painting, its reinterpretation, and its placement within the contemporary world of a male community.
Eva Rezová has been involved in dance since childhood. While studying at the Duncan Centre, she performed in Jiří Bartovanec’s production of The Rite of Spring and in choreographer Yoshiko Chuma’s project for the Secret Journey exhibition, among others. She created the choreography for Concert for Mr. Shakespeare (2022 Summer Shakespeare Festival). She has collaborated with the J. K. Tyl Theater as a choreographer on the musicals The Goat War (2022), Company (2024), and Dr. Kroner’s Magic Watch (2026). She has completed study residencies in Belgium and Taiwan.
