PŘÍBĚHY AFRIKY

For three weekends in June, we'll be touring the countries from which the festival artists originate along the Žižkov Highline embankment. Bring along the children and grandparents and your friends; everyone can select their preferred options from the weekend menu. Krenovka* isn't just about dancing; you'll encounter artists from the Trať 42 association and the delightful Unijazz Reading Room, enhancing the experience with culinary delights from the North, Africa and Ukraine.

Explore African art through movement, beadwork, vibrant colours, ceramics, and batik making. Then, immerse yourself in Africa's rhythms with a drumming workshop led by Tomáš Kerle. Tadeáš Šíma invites you on a virtual bike ride across the continent. Afro beats set the stage for an evening at PONEC featuring solo performances by Mai Juli and Amaly Dianor. Don't miss Amaly Dianor's workshop for professionals before she heads back to Paris for the Olympic Games opening ceremony!
